Supervision by EDPS

The European Data Protection Supervisor - EDPS, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation - Eurojust, and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office - EPPO, are hosting a conference on data protection in the field of criminal justice in the EU. The event will bring together data protection experts, criminal law practitioners and policymakers to reflect on data protection in criminal prosecution and judicial cooperation in the EU.

EDPS Formal comments on the draft Proposals for Commission Implementing Decisions on the:

• technical specifications and standards for the e-CODEX system, including for security and methods for integrity and authenticity verification
• service level requirements for the activities to be carried out by eu-LISA concerning the e-CODEX system
• specific arrangements for the handover and takeover process of the e-CODEX system

EDPS Opinion the Proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EU) No 389/2012 as regards the exchange of information maintained in the electronic registers concerning economic operators who move excise goods between Member States for commercial purposes
