International Organisations Workshop on Data Protection 2023

The EDPS and INTERPOL co-host the 2023 edition of the International Organisations Workshop on data Protection - IOW 2023. The event takes place on 24 and 25 October in Lyon at the INTERPOL General Secretariat.

This initiative, launched by the EDPS in 2005, aims at bringing together International Organisations to share experiences and best practices in the field of privacy and data protection. Participants discuss the most recent regulatory developments at international level and analyse their implications for International Organisations.

The IOW 2023 edition will focus on trends in privacy and data protection, data transfer to and between International organisations, management of digital identities and the reconciliation of Digital transformation and Data protection. This workshop is a unique opportunity to meet, share experiences, best practices, concerns and updates relating to data protection from the perspective of International Organisations.

This edition of the workshop is organised as hybrid event, bringing together participants both in person and online. Please note that this workshop is reserved to representatives of International Organisations.
