Wenn ein Gesetzesvorschlag oder ein anderer relevanter Vorschlag für den Schutz personenbezogener Daten von besonderer Bedeutung ist, kann die Europäische Kommission gemäß Artikel 42(2) der Verordnung (EU) 2018/1725 auch den Europäischen Datenschutzausschuss (EDSA) konsultieren. In solchen Fällen arbeiten der EDSB und der EDSA zusammen, um eine gemeinsame Stellungnahme abzugeben.
